My name is JaRechel Brown and I am the owner of WIGGLES & GIGGLES. I’ve spent many years in the childcare field working as an assistant in my parents Family Home Daycare. Working in childcare along with being a part of a large family (7 siblings) has allowed me to cover many roles such as overseeing children, daycare paperwork and meal preparation. This paired with my experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for 7 years, led me on the path to open my own center, WIGGLE & GIGGLES. I pride myself in my experience working with families in many capacities and providing exceptional care, supervision, and support to youth and adults with a wide range of abilities both developmentally and medically. I am looking forward to growing and learning with you and your children and creating a center that fulfills the needs of our community while providing quality care.
Ms. Tia McLoughlin has been an educator and director for over twenty five years. Her philosophy on educating children is basic: Children learn through their daily play in a safe, accepting and nurturing living environment.
As an educator of young children, she’s committed to provide a child-initiated, child-directed, and teacher-supported play, which is developmentally appropriate for young children, and is the foundation to our program. Through play and the freedom to explore, children are offered abundant opportunities to develop emotional, physical, social and intellectual skills that will last a lifetime
Ms. Tia believes each child has been born with a gift and a talent no other person possesses.
The following quote of Mr. Jean Piaget, reflects her deep belief in allowing each child to learn at their own pace and readiness: “Education, for most people, means trying to lead the child to resemble the typical adult of his society... But for me, education means making creators... You have to make inventors, innovators, not conformists.”
Together, let’s create the best your child can be by allowing creativity and freedom of thought in his/her daily play.
